Halong Bay

We have booked to catch a shuttle bus from Hanoi to Halong Bay for two nights. I was a bit dubious at first ( due to getting motion sickness when I am on something as rugged as a swing!), but Liz talked me into it. I was delighted when the dates we had chosen only had one night on the boat available and the other in a village. I will get the opportunity to work in the rice paddy a task which was once enjoyed/endured by my ancestors.
